  • - Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, University of Miami, USA, 1983.
  • - Graduate of the Harvard University's General Manager Program.
  • - Graduate of Senior Executive Forum of the IMD, Switzerland.

Work Experience :

  • - Deputy Governor and a Board Member of the Central Bank of Kuwait, May 2012 - Present.
  • - Member of the Committee, Kuwait Stock Exchange Market.
  • - Executive Director of the Supervision Sector, Central Bank of Kuwait from September 2010 until April 2012.
  • - Manager of the Offsite Supervision Department, Central Bank of Kuwait from January 2009 until August 2010.
  • - General Manager of Corporate Finance at Boubyan Bank from 2004 until 2008.
  • - General Manager of the Corporate Credit Division of the Commercial Bank of Kuwait, where he served in various capacities from 1983 until 2004.
  • - Served as Chairman of the Board for Credit Information Network (CiNet).
  • - Served as Chairman of the Board for Boubyan Takaful Insurance Company K.S.C.
  • - Served on the Boards of KNET (the Shared Electronic Services Company K.S.C.C.), First Real Estate Investment Company K.S.C., Kuwait Clearing Company K.S.C. and Kuwait Prefabricated Building Company K.S.C.
