Global Location Technology Veteran Joins Inform WorldwideAs a contributor to several international standards bodies, Mr. Tom has gained international recognition for his leadership in the development of geographic data standards and for establishing the U.S. national GIS standards technical committee. At the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), he was responsible for the coordination and development of geographic standards for use by agencies of the U.S. government.
