Dialogic Communications Corporation Secures Multi-Million Dollar Funding to Fuel Expansion
Microsoft Corporation among the first to invest in fast growing messaging company and its cutting-edge universal notification system, Reciprix™

FRANKLIN, TN - Dialogic Communications Corporation (DCC), the leading provider of high-speed notification and corporate messaging systems, today announced it has secured multi-million-dollar funding to support the company’s rapid expansion. Microsoft Corporation is among the first to invest in the company and its new enterprise messaging system, Reciprix™, which is built on the Microsoft Outlook 2000 messaging and collaboration client and integrates the power and flexibility of Microsoft’s Office 2000, and Exchange and SQL Servers.

Reciprix raises the bar on what companies can expect from enterprise messaging solutions. The system’s capabilities sparked the need to create a new solutions category - Universal Notification - which stretches beyond the scope of unified messaging to leverage the flexibility and performance of wireless, IP telephony and other advanced communications technologies.

“We’re excited about the enormous potential for growth,” said DCC President Gene Kirby. “Reciprix exceeds the performance of current messaging solutions and has utility across several markets enabling DCC to redefine enterprise messaging and to capitalize on the demand for the advanced capabilities we can offer.” While Reciprix cannot be limited to present categories, recent analyst predictions for similar markets offer a glimpse of the company’s potential for growth.

According to Frost and Sullivan, the unified messaging market alone will grow to almost $8 billion by 2005; Raticati Group estimates unified messaging services will reach $1.2 billion by 2003; and Albany Financial Services predicts IP telephony will become a $2.45 billion market by 2002.

Driven by the demand for advanced messaging capabilities, DCC’s revenues and customer base are expanding at a similar pace with these markets. DCC has already experienced double-digit growth with its high-speed notification and reverse automated callback system, The Communicator!™, which is used by hundreds of organizations worldwide making DCC the largest provider of notification solutions.

“DCC is now strategically positioned to take advantage of the current demand by companies for an enterprise messaging provider that can help them streamline communications for better business decisions, faster market response and greater competitiveness,” said Kirby. Early adapters of Reciprix include industry leaders in sectors as diverse as transportation, express shipping, corporate/Fortune 500, and banking and financial.

With funding now in place, DCC will significantly increase its focus on research and development, and sales and marketing while continuing to build and maintain a highly skilled technical staff to ensure the best internal talent portfolio. As well, the company will focus on leveraging the power of Microsoft products to offer the best-of-breed messaging solutions possible for the corporate enterprise in order to establish itself as the premier provider in this rapidly growing market.
