Autodesk Selects FME® Objects
Data translation components from Safe Software will provide
improved data access for Autodesk customers
Vancouver, BC – February 9, 2000 - Safe Software, Inc., a leading
provider of data interoperability solutions, announced today that they
have signed an agreement with Autodesk, Inc. regarding FME Objects. In
addition to a basic set of translators, FME Objects provides customers
with readers and writers for over 50 data formats, including such
frequently utilized industry formats as SDTS, GDF, SDE, Oracle8i Spatial
and NTF. Support for new data formats is being added regularly.

greatly expand the capabilities of Autodesk's GIS software," said Kimo
