ArcView 3.2 issue
Important installation issue for ArcView GIS 3.2 Windows users ONLY! A very limited number of ArcView GIS 3.2 Windows users have encounter a problem when attempting to install ArcView GIS 3.2 in directories with pathnames longer than 10 characters. This limitation was accidentally introduced as a result of fixing a different problem.

A replacement installation CD for ArcView GIS, which allows you to install ArcView GIS 3.2 in directories with pathnames longer than 10 characters, will be available on 1-13-00.

Please note, this installation CD does not allow installing ArcView GIS in directories with pathnames that contain spaces. Installing ArcView GIS in directories with pathnames that contain spaces can cause other problems to occur when using ArcView GIS or ArcView GIS extension products. This limitation will be resolved with the next major release of ArcView GIS. The CD will be automatically shipped to all users who have reported this problem, no charge to the user.
