ImageLinks offers Active Archive Technology On-line Processing to Customize Satellite, Aerial, and Geospatial Products to User Specifications
Melbourne Fl, June 23, 2000 - ImageLinks is now offering automated Active Archive Technology for on the fly processing of Satellite, Aerial, and Geospatial custom products. The Active Archive Technology is not only a technological capability that defines and produces custom Geospatial products, but it puts the customer in control of enormous digital archives and processing capabilities.

Through a web browser, the customer is able to choose options and control the specifications of the product by manipulating extremely large data sets and centralized computing resources. The customer can then tailor the product specifying data formats, map projections, band selections, and sophisticated data fusions. Within minutes after choosing the resolution, map projection, and datum of the desired product, the customer will be sent an email with an embedded ftp link to download the user-defined product.

The automated processing capability of Active Archive allows the user to run their own data processing factory right from their desktop in order to create customized products which can be delivered immediately via the Internet or shipped on their selected media. Since this system has the ability to produce a wide range of products on demand, the same underlying data sets can be produced to different specifications and marketed to applications in mapping, government, forestry, 3D simulation, precision agriculture, and geographical information systems.

ImageLinks provides value added processing of data through traditional and Internet methodologies for the commercial remote sensing industry. Located in Melbourne Florida, ImageLinks produces a variety of satellite and aerial imagery products for commercial flight simulators, geographic information systems, scientific analysis, and industrial applications. ImageLinks hosts the open source activities at www.remotesensing.org. For further information please call (321) 253-0011 or email info@imagelinks.com.
