Call for Papers for the Intergraph GeoSpatial Users Community International Conference
HUNTSVILLE, Ala., July 20, 2000 - With the launch of the new Intergraph GeoSpatial Users Community (IGUC), Intergraph is announcing a Call for Papers for all users of Intergraph software. Selected abstracts will be presented at the first Intergraph GeoSpatial Users Community International Conference, June 18-20, 2001, in Atlanta, Georgia.

Presentation of customer papers at the IGUC International Conference will showcase the expertise of Intergraph customers. The deadline for submission of abstracts is September 29, 2000. In addition, the conference will provide the opportunity for attendees to participate in training workshops, review product strategy and direction, and network with a large contingent of users of mapping and geographic information system (GIS) solutions. Leading keynotes, Web cafes, focus groups, project and solutions showcases, and full exhibits round out a conference for everyone who wants to capitalize on GIS and its potential.

"Our users are the cornerstone for shaping our future technology and for sharing real-world experience with their peers," said Preetha Pulusani, executive vice president of Intergraph's Mapping/GIS business. "The GeoSpatial Users Conference offers a high-energy climate replete with new ideas and innovations to expand the application of geospatial information."

Every Intergraph user is encouraged to submit a 100-word abstract about a real-world application that uses Intergraph's Mapping/GIS solutions. For a Call for Papers overview and to submit abstracts online visit http://www.intergraph.com/software/gis/community/call2.asp.
