Earth Search Sciences Appoints Vice President of Technological Operations and Processing
MCCALL, Idaho, May 4, 2000--Larry Vance, founder and chairman of Earth Search Sciences, Inc., (OTCBB:EDIS) today announced the appointment of Joe Zamudio, Ph.D., as Vice President of Technological Operations and Processing. Vance said this is another important step for Earth Search as it brings on board someone who has many years experience in the remote sensing field, working on a variety of applications. Dr. Zamudio was formally with Analytical Imaging and Geophysics Corp. (AIG). Zamudio, who received his Ph.D. in Geology from the University of Colorado in 1992, has been involved with hyperspectral remote sensing since 1986. He has worked on various mineral exploration projects and a number of environmental studies using data from a variety of sensors.

"My goal is to advance the technical capabilities of Earth Search, particularly regarding the extraction of valuable information products from the wealth of data Earth Search is collecting. We will continue to develop the company and contribute to the growth of the field of hyperspectral remote sensing," Zamudio said.

Earth Search Sciences, Inc., is a leading provider of commercial remote sensing services. The company's PROBE-1 hyperspectral remote sensing instruments provide quantifiable information to customers through analysis of distinctive reflectance features of natural and manmade materials on the Earth's surface.

The company delivers proprietary data and information products to clients engaged in mineral and hydrocarbon exploration, environmental assessment, and other activities that require highly accurate information. Through analysis of data captured by its next generation remote sensing system, Earth Search Sciences enhances its customers' decision-making capabilities. The remote sensing system enables accurate mapping of large tracts of land quickly and economically.
