Tower Maps Releases Comprehensive Database of Wireless Cell Towers and Rooftop Collocation Sites
LOVETTSVILLE, VA - November 8, 2000 - Tower Maps has announced the release of a comprehensive database of cell
towers and rooftop sites throughout the US and Canada. With more than 115,000 tower and rooftop sites, Tower Maps is
a comprehensive data source for the wireless industry to locate and lease antenna space. The database has been
compiled from over 180 tower owners and site managers. The data provides carriers, wireless engineers, tower brokers,
site acquisition specialists with facility location, tower/building height and owner contact and telephone to expedite
antenna leasing on towers and rooftops. Using desktop mapping or GIS computer systems, location maps can be
prepared by integrating Tower Maps with other data layers such as topography, land use, streets, zoning and FCC license
boundaries.
"Many wireless consultants rely on the FCC databases of antenna structures, but these are often outdated and
incomplete. Only Tower Maps offers current and complete GIS data of leaseable sites for use in antenna leasing, siting,

The data set is available in several database and GIS formats including MapInfo and ArcView. There is no charge to the
tower owners for submitting their site location data. Data prices start at $495 per county with optional monthly updates
