Earth Search Announces Collaboration With University of Montana

KALISPELL, Mont.-Nov. 8, 2000--The University of Montana and Earth Search Sciences, Inc., (ESSI) (OTCBB:EDIS - news; http://www.earthsearch.com), reached an agreement to draft a memorandum of understanding that outlines the terms of a collaboration that will allow Earth Search Sciences, Inc. to license Remote Sensing/GIS technologies generated by the U of M scientists.

``This kind of agreement with the University of Montana means that Earth Search will have access to an ever expanding array of highly creative and innovative technological products and personnel in the remote sensing field. We will be able to offer a wide variety of products to the market that cover layers of information and need beyond what the markets currently can expect. Terranet has been specifically designed to deliver this kind of detailed information to the public. Our global ISP through ONSat is now online and will make available on demand these products to anyone on the planet with internet access,'' said Larry Vance, chairman of Earth Search.

Earth Search needs to hire processors and support personnel and will be looking to the University to provide and help train those people under this agreement.

``With a supply of qualified and trained candidates from the University of Montana, Earth Search can finally build the processing capability required to meet the needs of the market as well as our internal needs for hydrocarbon, mineral and environmental exploration,'' continued Vance. ``ESSI looks to this collaboration to kick of its technology center in Kalispell, Montana to incubate new high tech start up companies in the remote sensing and GIS field from around the world. Our technology center will provide the seeds of future technological innovations and advancements that will allow Earth Search and its partners to keep a firm grasp on a leadership role in remote sensing for years to come.''
