Canadian Studies Specialty Group-2001 Graduate Student Paper Competition


The Canadian Studies Specialty Group (CSSG) of the Association of American Geographers (AAG) is pleased to announce its 2000-2001 graduate student paper competition prize to be given at the 2001 AAG meeting in New York City. The competition is open to any graduate student who presents a paper with a substantive Canadian focus at any conference between April 10, 2000 and March 3, 2001. The CSSG encourages submissions from human and physical geographers. The only stipulation is that Canadian Geography represents a significant component of the paper. The winning entry will be awarded $150. The deadline for submitting a paper is February 16, 2001.
