PocketCAD Viewer Now Available From Arc Second;
Newest Addition to PocketCAD Software Family Released
DULLES, Va., Oct. 17, 2000--Arc Second Inc. recently announced the immediate
availability of PocketCAD(R) VIEWER, computer-aided design (CAD) software for handheld computing devices
that allows industry professionals to view, markup and redline design drawings in the field.
Powered with Autodesk(TM) technology, PocketCAD VIEWER is designed for installation on any
Windows(R) CE 2.11 or higher-powered mobile device including Pocket PCs, Palmsize PCs and Handheld PCs.
The introduction of PocketCAD VIEWER follows the premiere of PocketCAD PRO, the first fully functional
CAD software for mobile computing devices. For people who do not need full CAD functionality, PocketCAD
VIEWER offers professionals a comprehensive feature set that makes data viewing and redlining simple, easy
and effective. It is available by download on the Web at www.PocketCAD.com at an introductory price of $99
valid through Oct. 31, after which time the price will be $139.
"PocketCAD VIEWER is the perfect solution for individuals that must take design drawings into the field to
execute functions such as recording work-arounds, checking drawings against as-builts and inspecting the

Potential users of the entire PocketCAD software family include architects, engineering project managers,
space planners, job-site inspectors, facility managers, manufacturing engineers, product designers, maintenance
personnel and other users of site and facility design information.
PocketCAD VIEWER files are easily uploaded to desktop programs in DXF(TM) format and desktop CAD
files can be downloaded as DWG and DXF files directly into mobile devices. The software is compatible with
nearly all desktop CAD software packages including AutoCAD(R) releases 12 through 2000i.
