TELUS to launch Toronto business directory

New directory to bring one comprehensive book and competition to Canada's
largest market
TORONTO - The sales force behind Western Canada's most
trusted directory source, TELUS Advertising Services (TAS), hit the streets of
Toronto last week, bringing real choice and competition to Canada's largest
directory market.
From now until mid August 2001, TELUS will be contacting advertisers in
Etobicoke, York, North York, East York, Scarborough, and Toronto to discuss
their inclusion in the upcoming TELUS directory.
To be distributed later this year, the TELUS Toronto Directory will
consist of a single book for all of the City of Toronto. This is the first
time Toronto consumers will be able to access information from all over
Toronto from one information source.

in Ontario and the West, we're confident the TELUS Toronto Directory will be
the preferred information source for the City of Toronto," says Don Romaniuk,

In addition to competitive rates for advertisers and optimum coverage of
the City of Toronto, the TELUS Toronto Directory will feature:
- A complete list of Toronto postal codes
- Community pages and local maps
- A "Menus by Cuisine" section
- Internet Guide
- Business listings and ads spanning the city
