INDIANAPOLIS, Aug. 8, 2001--In late January, Plexis Group, LLC, a technology solutions provider based in Indianapolis,
introduced its new software, ecama(TM).
Since that introduction more than forty Indiana counties have requested proposals for the product. Monroe and Grant counties are among the first to adopt the
new ecama software; Plexis Group recently announced that both have signed a contract, placing them among the elite in usage of the ecama tax assessment
product.
ecama provides a turnkey property tax assessment solution for Indiana counties. The software allows counties to make property taxing more efficient, in both
cost and time. ecama also enables data migration from legacy systems currently in use by Indiana counties. This software can be integrated with other products,
including Plexis Group's efiniti web-enabled GIS application, as well as other county departments. Using ecama counties can maintain a street index for quality
control using street verification; it also has the ability to enforce postal code standards -- a function that can save the average county as much as $15,000 a year.
Indiana county assessors are very enthusiastic about ecama and Plexis Group. "Monroe County has maintained a very trusted, happy relationship with Plexis
Group since they were founded. This type of relationship leads to belief and trust in Plexis Group products," states Monroe County Assessor Judy Sharp. As
President of the Indiana Tax Assessors Association she envisions great advantages to using the ecama software. "ecama promises easy operation, cost efficiency,
and a truly integrated product." Monroe County will be one of the first counties to implement the ecama software in July.
Grant County Assessor Jay Walters concurs. "The ecama software has many features that our entire county will benefit from. And Plexis Group has proven
itself to be a reliable and responsive company to work with," he explains. Grant County is also one of the first implementation sites in July.
