Maptuit Corporation and AMCi Announce Real Time Routing, Tracking and Monitoring of Assets in Transit

Combined service to alert operators when high-value and/or dangerous materials leave their designated route

Burlington, MA, December 12, 2001 - Maptuit Corporation and American Millennium Corporation, Inc. (OTC BB: AMCi), today announced a comprehensive solution for the transportation industry that directs, tracks, maps, and monitors the real-time movement of assets. The companies' strategic alliance will combine Maptuit's mapping, directions and geofencing technology (that alerts dispatchers if a truck has left or entered a pre-designated area) with AMCi's tracking and monitoring products.

With recent security concerns, requests to proactively track the whereabouts of gasoline trucks, hazardous chemical trucks and other assets have been overwhelming.

The combination of AMCi's SatAlarm system and Maptuit's AVL software not only enables the tracking of assets, but also notifies dispatchers when vehicles are off their designated route. In particular, the combined product allows the driver and/or dispatcher to pick from a set of recommended routes, and set a geofence around them. If a truck unexpectedly exits this pre-determined area, the company and, if appropriate, local, state, and national authorities can be alerted.

Jeff Papows President and CEO of Maptuit stated, "The combined service provides Maptuit's customers with a turnkey AVL tracking application that can be extended to include route geofencing and alerts. SatAlarm, augmented with our services, provides our collective customers with the most flexible solution for managing and controlling high-cost and high-risk assets on the go".

According to Steve Watwood, AMCi Chairman and VP Business Development, "tracking and monitoring customers now have access to optimized point-to-point and multi-point routing with Maptuit. Maptuit's services convert the coordinates we obtain from our GPS system and associates them with the road network. When the high-value assets that AMCi tracks are in transit, we can follow them on the map, compare their position against the 'truck safe' route they have been assigned, and determine if they are within proximity of predefined areas. In addition, through our combined relationship with Pixxures of Arvada, Colorado, a provider of high-resolution aerial digital imaging, we can backdrop a truck's location with aerial photographs. "
