ArcView Business Analyst 1.1a Now Shipping New Data and Enhanced Functionality Mark Latest Release

Redlands, California-ESRI, the world leader in geographic information system (GIS) software, announced today that ArcView Business Analyst 1.1a, ESRI’s award-winning desktop GIS solution for business, is now shipping. ArcView Business Analyst 1.1a, a powerful tool for making better business decisions, combines the full functionality of ESRI’s popular ArcView GIS with intuitive data analysis tools and a robust catalog of year 2000 business, demographic, and household data for the United States.

ArcView Business Analyst 1.1a includes

Data

  • More than 14 million business listings for the year 2000 from infoUSA, with SIC codes and company name, address, and sales and employee information. Using infoUSA data, customers will be able to select information on companies by industry, sales volume, geography, and many other criteria to find people for target marketing and to identify new customers and prospects.
  • Direct access from ArcView Business Analyst to Centrus Online, where users can perform customer profiling and prospecting against a national household-level database on the Internet. Users will also be able to order and download prospect mailing lists. This new feature will provide direct access to more than 105 million nationwide consumer household records from Experian.
  • Nationwide demographic data at the block group, census tract, and ZIP Code level. Year 2000 estimates with five-year projections from a choice of Applied Geographic Solutions, Inc., or CACI Marketing Systems data.
  • Nationwide street database in ArcView StreetMap from Wessex, a division of Geographic Data Technology, Inc., that enhances TIGER 97 source data.
  • Updated geocoding database from Sagent Technology, Inc. (formerly Qualitative Marketing Software, Inc.), which includes postal updates to July 2000 and current TIGER 98 street address range information.

  • Seagate’s Crystal Reports 7.0 including report templates and easy-to-use custom reports.
