Phoenix, AZ, May 10, 2001— CADTEL Systems, Inc, provider of technology solutions for advanced communications networks, announced that Derrick Doss has joined the company's professional Enterprise Consulting Group, where he will be responsible for the consultative sales process to CADTEL’s new and existing clients in the Eastern region.

Doss joins the company from Lucent Technologies, where he most recently served as an account manager, selling telecom equipment to the Fortune 500 Companies through the company’s Phoenix office. He will use his prior work experience to manage and develop CADTEL’s eastern customers in formulating or revising their Enterprise business strategies and assist them with their GIS implementations.

“We are very fortunate to find such a talented individual to join the CADTEL team of enterprise consultants,” said Doug Weber, Manager of the Enterprise Consulting Group. “In Doss’s recent 5-year experience with Lucent Technologies, he has assisted his clients in identifying the best solutions for their communications systems. At CADTEL, he will bring that same experience to bear as he assumes a consultative role in helping clients with their network design and documentation needs.”

“I am looking forward to telling CADTEL’s GIS Enterprise story. That of how our open architecture and web-enablement is revolutionizing GIS and GIS conversions. CADTEL has a philosophy and a strategy of openness and Best-of-Breed, which is unparalleled in our field,” said Doss. “I’m particularly pleased to be associated with a company that puts its customers first and puts such an effort forward to maintain a leading-edge approach to technology.”

Doss earned a B.A. degree in Communications from Southern Illinois University and is certified by Cisco for small to medium business solutions sales.
