www.igarss02.ca
With the environment under great stress around the world, remote sensing can
provide global, consistent and unbiased observations of the health of our
planet. Under the theme Remote Sensing: Integrating Our View of the Planet,
IGARSS 2002 (www.igarss02.ca) which will take place
in Toronto from June 24 to 28, will reflect the power of fusing multiple
sources of satellite and airborne imagery with geographic information and
the expertise of many disciplines. If this is something of interest to you,
you are invited to exhibit or to present a paper at one of the most
important conference in the world.
The Symposium Topics have been selected to offer a broad selection of the
most current specializations within the fields of geoscience and remote
sensing. The 126 topics are organized under six headings: Applications of
Remote Sensing; Missions, Programs, Societal Issues and Educational
Initiatives; Geoscience Modeling and Processes; Data Processing and
Algorithms; Electromagnetic Problems; and Instrumentation and Techniques.
These headings cover both civilian and military applications. The IGARSS
symposia are known for the high technical standard of their presentations,
wide-ranging coverage of all remote sensing areas, and quality publications.
