GBA Master Series, Inc. Unveils Programs for Fleet and Equipment Management to Complement Powerful Software Suite

Jump to Website Here
KANSAS CITY, MO -- GBA Master Series, Inc., an infrastructure management software developer located in Kansas City, Missouri, releases the software applications GBA Fleet MasterT and GBA Equipment MasterT. These new programs complement the powerful suite which includes applications for management of water distribution, sewer, storm water, street, and pavement systems. The suite also includes programs for maintenance management, materials inventory and customer complaint tracking. All modules are integrated with GBA GIS Master®, an extension of ESRI's ArcView® GIS software. These new programs provide public works and water resources departments with a complete suite of asset management and maintenance programs.

"We developed the fleet and equipment programs as a response to requests made by our current end-users," said Donald E. Pinkston, Jr., P.E., President of GBA Master Series, Inc. He continued by adding, "Our users provided us with the input and direction we needed to develop comprehensive programs that would be applicable to all our clients."

The two new applications track associated attributes for vehicles and equipment, preventative maintenance (PM) needs based on time and usage, and historical information on work and PM including personnel, materials and equipment used. Estimated remaining life of the asset includes historical information along with a calculation of projected remaining usage. These programs will allow management to compare usage figures between estimated and actual costs to identify problematic vehicles.

"With the development of these modules, we have provided managers tools to easily schedule routine maintenance," Pinkston said. "Now we have a more complete suite that covers a broad range of public works department needs," he said.
