COLUMBIA, S.C., Apr 25, 2002 - Where is CAD headed? What's the future technology for design? Technical Evangelist Lynn Allen from AutoDesk tells all at the American Design Drafting Association Technical Conference in St. Louis, MO, May 8-9.

Allen's two presentations at the 43rd ADDA Technical Conference are the last words on future design technology. Her presentations on "CAD Trends" and "Making the Leap From Autocad to Inventor" are sure to bring the audience up to speed on what to expect in their profession as designers for the next few years.

"The Future of 3D Visualization" is indeed another presentation for future design aids. Architek president Brandon Fisher, describes his company's new software, ArchiMax, that allows people to visualize a proposed building before a single brick is laid.

Also, looking into the future, Frank Bakos, Technical Coach with Tec-Ease, Inc., makes a presentation on the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, past present and future. ASME sets the standards and perimeters around which many designers must work; therefore, the direction this large, well respected organization takes is important to professional designers.
