Radius Topology goes to Germany

Cambridge, UK, 2nd December 2002. Laser-Scan to present Radius Topology to Oracle users in Germany.

Laser-Scan has been invited to deliver a presentation about its latest product Radius Topology at the Oracle Germany User Group's (DOAG) Special Interest Group (SIG) for Spatial Technology.

The event includes presentations from users throughout the Oracle community, as well as from Oracle specialists. Laser-Scan's Product Architect, Seb Lessware, will be demonstrating how Radius Topology can be used with a variety of GIS products to create and maintain gold standard data in an Oracle9i database.

Radius Topology delivers dramatic improvements to the speed and consistency of spatial data handling within the Oracle9i environment. Working behind the scenes, Radius Topology automatically adds topological intelligence to data; existing Oracle spatial software and GIS applications can continue unchanged. Laser-Scan's Radius Topology brings the advantages of GIS to all users within the IT environment.

This event is in line with Laser-Scan's expansion into Germany working through key Oracle Centres of Excellence, such as the University of Muenster and other business partners.

Seb Lessware was recently appointed Deputy Chairman of the UK Oracle User Group (UKOUG) Spatial SIG, organised by the UK Oracle User Group.

The German Oracle User Group SIG event takes place in Munich on 5th December. http://www.doag.org/pub/calendar.show?id=13714
