New Showcase for Geographic Data: GeoDATA 2003

Cambridge, November 2003. Following the recent announcement of GeoDATA 2003, a series of seminars showcasing geographic data and it’s application in business by The GeoInformation Group the UKs leading supplier of geographic information, the organisers are pleased to announce further details.

The events will run in three cities; London on the 4th February 2003, Birmingham on the 5th February 2003 and Edinburgh on the 6th February 2003. Showcasing many of the UKs suppliers of geographic information from both commercial and government sectors GeoDATA 2003 will introduce the delegate to the types and characteristics of geographic information and examples of its real world application for benefit.

A number of major UK companies have already signed up to the event, including Trimble Navigation Limited, Lovell Johns, Landmark Information Group, PointX, and The United Kingdom Hydrographic Office. This is the first time that geographic data and its application for business has been the focus of a dedicated series of seminars. Through a series of city based events it is hoped that GeoDATA 2003 will improve awareness and education in the value of geographic in supporting UK business.
