    BOSTON, MA - January 29, 2002- Applied Geographics Inc., a Boston-based company specializing in Geographic Information System (GIS) consulting services, is pleased to announce the opening of its Connecticut Office in Manchester, Connecticut.

    "Our new office location represents our commitment to helping Connecticut's state and local governments to meet their need for geographic information and analysis", said Joan Gardner, the company's President and CEO. "By opening this new office we will be able to provide our current and future clients with a higher level of service and response."
