OnStar Incorporates GDT Street and Address Data For Support of Location Analysis and Routing

LEBANON, N.H., Jan 28, 2002 -- Geographic Data Technology, Inc., a developer of premier map databases, today
announced that its most recent street and address databases have been incorporated into OnStar telematics services offering emergency assistance,
route planning and concierge services.
OnStar has integrated GDT's nationwide Dynamap(R)/Transportation database into OnStar's premier call center, which offers services such as
automatic notification of airbag deployment, emergency service notification, roadside assistance, route support assistance, stolen vehicle tracking and
concierge services. Compiled from a vast network of sources, Dynamap/Transportation provides street and address coverage, highly accurate
one-way and restricted turn information, accurate representation of limited access highways, preferred routing names, and exit point layers.
OnStar touches subscribers in every county in the United States and all provinces of Canada with 200,000 routing calls, 14,250 roadside dispatches,
and 300 airbag deployments each month.
