Laser-Scan technology in the Oracle environment: free seminars

Following a warm reception for its new Oracle-based capabilities at the recent AppsWorld event, Laser-Scan is running a series of free seminars for customers and potential partners to find out more.

Laser-Scan's Advanced Spatial Processing Environment (ASPE(TM)) extends the Oracle9i database and provides dramatic improvements to the speed and quality of spatial data handling. Working behind the scenes, ASPE(TM) adds topological intelligence to data; existing Oracle Spatial-based applications and third party components continue unchanged.

Presented by Laser-Scan experts, the company's seminars will explore the benefits of ASPE(TM) for IT professionals across many different industries, as well as offering an insight into the technology behind this latest development.

The seminars are being held at Laser-Scan's headquarters on the Cambridge Science Park on the following dates:

    20th February 2002
    13th March 2002
    10th April 2002

For more information about free ASPE(TM) seminars visit the Laser-Scan website at http://www.laser-scan.com/oracle/seminars.htm or contact Helen Marsh: email helenm@lsl.co.uk or phone +44 (0) 1223 420414.
