Hiland Joins GeoDecisions
(Austin, Texas) Matt W. Hiland recently joined GeoDecisions, a recognized leader in
the spatial information technology industry, as the southwest regional manager.
As the head of operations in the firm's Austin, Texas office, he is responsible for
expanding GeoDecisions' services to ITS clients in the mid and south-western United States.
Hiland's duties include managing staff, projects, and business development efforts. He has more
than 11 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing geographic information
systems and related technologies.
Hiland holds a bachelor of science in landscape architecture from Louisiana State
University. He is a member of the GeoSpatial Information Technology Association and the
Urban and Regional Information Systems Association. Hiland is an active supporter of the
Texas Association of Governmental Information Technology Managers.
