Kenneth Dooley Joins Business Development Group at Applied Geographics, Inc.

    BOSTON – May 22, 2002 - Applied Geographics, Inc. (AGI) today announced the addition of Kenneth Dooley to the Boston office staff. As Business Development Manager, Mr. Dooley will bring to AGI over 17 years of professional marketing and business development experience in the GIS arena. Mr. Dooley’s career reflects a results oriented approach to defining solutions for key market segments and target customers. He has held several senior level marketing and management positions at Intergraph Corp. and Advanced Visual Systems, where he was responsible for promoting GIS technology in earth sciences, engineering and environmental markets.

    AGI President Joan Gardner notes, “Direct communications and relationship-building with customers are two of Ken’s strong points. His combined marketing, sales and business development experience will contribute to our growth-oriented, customer focused organization.” At AGI, Mr. Dooley will work on strengthening existing business relationships as well as cultivating new ones, focusing on the Facilities and Environmental markets.
