United Services Group Chosen by McLeod Cooperative Power Association for AutoCAD to ESRI Conversion

Elk River, Minnesota, August 11, 2003 United Services Group, Elk River, Minnesota, announced that McLeod Cooperative Power Association in Glencoe, Minnesota has chosen United Services Group to convert their existing AutoCAD mapping system to ESRI ArcGIS solutions.
McLeod Cooperative Power Association is a member-owned electric distribution cooperative that provides electricity to more than 6,000 residents, businesses and industries in central Minnesota primarily in McLeod, Renville, Sibley and Carver Counties.
Darrel Beste, Manager of Engineering Services for McLeod Cooperative Power Association states, " Jeff Grussing, Leader of GIS Development for United Services Group has been very helpful in solving the problems that we encountered with our existing system and has provided us with a lot of information on the ESRI solutions. We checked out a couple of alternatives to replace our AutoCAD system and we are sure that we made the right decision to go with the widely used ESRI ArcGIS solution."
