NovaLIS signs agreement with ILS to market its land titles and deeds recording software in North America

Charlotte, North Carolina, USA: NovaLIS Technologies - a leading provider of integrated land records management solutions - and International Land Systems (ILS) - a leading developer of land and deed registry systems worldwide - are joining forces to provide a GIS-based land titling solution to the North American market.

NovaLIS and ILS signed an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) agreement that enables NovaLIS to market, sell, implement, and support Land Titles Office by ILS as part of its integrated land records management solution.

“NovaLIS and ILS have already proven their ability to work effectively together in Spotsylvania County, VA and with the Jamaican National Land System,” says NovaLIS President/CEO Gary Waters.

“This agreement serves to solidify a relationship that is already benefiting both companies and more importantly our clients.”

Spotsylvania County, VA is already using Land Titles Office by ILS. The county is in the process of implementing Assessment Office, and upon completion work will begin on a Land Development Office implementation. When the entire system goes live, these three solutions will be fully integrated with each other, as well as the county’s GIS. The Jamaican National Land System is in the process of implementing an integrated system using Land Titles Office by ILS and Parcel Editor.

“The ability to integrate information using the land object or parcel through GIS has always been a key characteristic of our land titling and deed solutions,” says ILS President Peter Rabley.

“NovaLIS’ deep commitment to using spatial information as the common denominator among land records solutions made our partnership a natural fit. I look forward to the new opportunities this alliance will provide to us”

The OEM is exclusive to ILS’ titles and deeds registry products and covers North America. The two companies will pursue international opportunities together on a case-by-case basis.

Land Titles Office by ILS is a powerful software solution combining GIS, document imaging, workflow management, and relational database technology in one complete package. Land Titles Office automates land titles and registry agencies, and facilitates management of lands owned by one jurisdiction or agency.

NovaLIS Technologies: Established in 1992, NovaLIS Technologies designs and delivers software solutions that streamline land records management and improve access to information relating to property valuation, land tenure, cadastral mapping, permitting, and land use planning. ESRI Canada, ESRI Inc., and Leica Geosystems jointly own NovaLIS. NovaLIS’ corporate headquarters are in Charlotte, North Carolina and Halifax, Nova Scotia. Regional offices are strategically located across the United States and Canada. NovaLIS is committed to providing land and government agencies with outstanding business solutions.
