Beta Testers Sought for ESRI ArcGIS 8.3 Extension

May 12, 2003 – Madison,WI – UCLID Software announced today that it is seeking beta test sites for Swipe It! version 2.0 which will work with the ESRI ArcGIS Traverse Window. Swipe It! version 1.0, released in March, uses a cut and paste technique to move data from scanned documents to the ESRI ArcGIS Attribute Window. Swipe It! is a GIS data entry tool that eliminates the need for typing. Anyone wishing to apply for the beta program can do so online at http://beta.uclid.com.

The ideal beta site will be familiar with the Traverse Window in ESRI ArcEditor 8.3 or ESRI ArcInfo 8.3 and have access to scanned source documents. The beta program is scheduled to run through May 30, 2003. Beta sites qualify for substantial discounts in recognition of their time and effort. Questions about the beta program should be directed to Paige Medlin Paige_Medlin@uclid.com or (608) 664-0570.

UCLID Software improves efficiency and increases productivity by eliminating tedious data entry. UCLID produces OEM products for software developers and GIS software for end users. UCLID is an ESRI Business Partner.
