Laser-Scan and CSF form partnership

Cambridge, UK, 10 November 2003. Laser-Scan announces a partnership with Computer Solutions and Finance Group plc (CSF), a leading full services IT solutions provider.
Whilst Laser-Scan and CSF have already worked together on several initiatives, this agreement enables the two companies to form a comprehensive framework to effectively exploit commercial opportunities.
The partnership will concentrate initially on the UK market, primarily in public sector, utilities and defence.
The partnership brings together a range of complementary skills and experience and will deliver added value for both organisation's customers.
CSF brings to the partnership a wealth of expertise in deploying large-scale hardware and software solutions: from implementation and integration, to hosting, consultancy and professional services. Laser-Scan's extensive expertise in managing geospatial data and its knowledge of all the leading GIS (Geographic Informations Systems) applications will bring additional benefits to CSF's customers.

As a sponsor of Laser-Scan's User & Partner Conference on 17-18 July 2003, CSF provided HP Itanium Servers for running Laser-Scan's Radius Topology technology. The Itanium's 64-bit enterprise computing power delivered significant performance improvements that outstripped previous processing capabilities.
