Safe Software Announces FME 2004 ICE

Vancouver BC – June 8, 2004 - Safe Software Inc., the industry leader in spatial ETL technologies, announces the release of the latest version of its flagship product, FME 2004 ICE.
Safe Software’s latest version of FME contains close to 600 user-requested enhancements, as well as several new and updated formats that bring the total number of FME-supported formats to over 130. FME 2004 ICE can also plug into and extend a number of GIS products, allowing users of those products to access FME technology more seamlessly than ever before. A variety of user experience improvements further simplifies a range of common tasks.

FME 2004 ICE complements the recently announced ESRI Data Interoperability extension for ArcGIS 9.0 by enabling direct access to a number of additional niche formats. In addition, FME 2004 ICE enables Autodesk Map 3D 2005 users to directly import and export all FME-supported formats.
