Analyzing ALOHA Plume Models within ArcGIS 9.0
Printer Friendly versionPrinter Friendly

ROCHESTER, NY: Bergmann Associates announces the release of ACAS; a GIS-based commercial software product designed to integrate ALOHA plume modeling results directly into ArcGIS 9.

ACAS is an ESRI-based extension that was designed to help emergency response staff integrate ALOHA plume modeling results directly into ArcGIS for enhanced and more accurate disaster and emergency response planning and analysis. Emergency reponse staff utilizing EPA's ALOHA plume modeling software now have the ability to generate geographic data of the ALOHA output and analyze the plume model data automatically within ArcMap to ascertain potential impacts with infrastructure, parcels and other GIS data within a gegraphic area.

As an extension to ESRI's ArcGIS 9.0, ACAS processes plume model results from ALOHA software directly into the ArcMap environment. An automated process has been developed within ACAS to generate analysis and reports on potential impacts on an agency's assets and infrastructure. Using ACAS allows emergency response staff to be better prepared for potential disaster and emergency reponse scenarios.

ESRI, ArcMap and ArcGIS are trademarks, registered trademarks or service marks of ESRI in the United States, the European Community or certain other jurisdictions.
