First Annual Geospatial Integration for Public Safety Conference Taking Place in Nashville

December 7, 2005 (Park Ridge, IL) – The Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (URISA) and the National Emergency Number Association (NENA) are pleased to announce that the First Annual Geospatial Integration for Public Safety Conference (GIPSC) will be held April 10-12, 2006 at the Renaissance Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee. The conference is jointly sponsored by URISA and NENA. Designed for 9-1-1 professionals, GIS professionals, addressing coordinators, incident management and emergency response specialists, GIPSC will provide a dynamic and interactive educational forum that addresses the challenges and opportunities of mapping and addressing in public safety and emergency management, while giving participants a guide to understanding the latest technology and resources.
The conference program, exhibitor information, and registration form will be available in late January.
