Green Bay, Wisconsin – VELOCITIE Integration, Inc. is providing sanitary sewer migration and implementation services to Spokane County Public Works (SCPW) for their ArcGIS™ data migration and Cityworks® deployment.
As a sub-consultant to Azteca Systems, VELOCITIE is leading the ArcGIS data migration effort by providing data modeling, ArcInfo coverage to geodatabase data migration services, geodatabase development, and ArcSDE installation support. As the prime contractor, Azteca Systems is managing the upgrade to Cityworks 8 including installation, training, and overseeing the data migration activities performed by VELOCITIE.
SCPW is relying on the team for a smooth transition from the legacy ArcInfo and Cityworks systems to the Cityworks 8 and ArcGIS software. Public Works plans to leverage the enhanced capabilities, product offerings and scalability available in the Cityworks 8 and ArcGIS versions of the software to provide greater access to the asset and location based information maintained by SCPW. It also anticipates that additional efficiencies in system interoperability will be realized through the open architecture platforms of Cityworks 8 and ArcGIS.
Jim Red, GIS Manager for the Division of Utilities stated,” The consistent high-level of service provided to the County by VELOCITIE and Azteca, and their knowledge of our GIS and CMMS environment were significant considerations in the selection of the VELOCITIE/Azteca team.
Bart Koenig, President of VELOCITIE, welcomes the opportunity to team up with its business partner, stating, “Spokane County Public Works is a long-time client of VELOCITIE and Azteca, and we are pleased that the County has selected our team to assist them in upgrading to the latest solutions offered by Azteca and ESRI.”
