United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation Welcomes New Board of Directors

OAK HILL, Va., March 02 2004 – The United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF) today welcomed three new board members, bolstering the depth and strength of the foundation’s board with a total of 13.

The new members of the USGIF board of directors are:

- John T. Werle, Vice President and General Manager, Space & Intelligence Systems, The Boeing Company

- Michael M. Thomas, Vice President & General Manager, Geospatial-Intelligence Solutions, Lockheed Martin Corporation

- Christopher K. Tucker, President and CEO, Ionic Enterprise

"As the Foundation membership continues to grow and our programs have become more diverse, we are excited to bring on these new board members, as their value will be immense," said K. Stuart Shea, chairman of the board of directors, USGIF. "These individuals, each with a unique and impressive professional background, will help provide our foundation with the direction it needs to maintain its role as the premier forum for the geospatial intelligence industry."

These directors join Shea and the USGIF’s other directors including Jack Dangermond, President, ESRI; Dr. Michael F. Goodchild, Professor of Geography, University of California, Santa Barbara; Arthur V. Grant, Vice President, Raytheon; and Paul L. Graziani, President & CEO, Analytical Graphics, Inc.; Dr. Leo A.
