Digital Map Products Brings On-Demand Mapping Applications to Seattle-Area Clients

SEATTLE-- March 21, 2005-- Government Agencies, Utilities, Realtors, Builders and Title Companies Empowered with Collaborative Management of Map-Based Data

Digital Map Products (DMP) today announced it is offering its map-enabled software application to Seattle-based organizations that rely on geographic information to make informed business decisions. DMP, a developer of high-performance Internet-hosted mapping applications, has entered the area with its application product line including flagship product, CityGIS5(TM), and is cultivating clients among Seattle-based realtors, builders, title companies, utilities and local government agencies.

DMP applications such as CityGIS5 will arm local businesses and agencies with the ability to create and maintain map-based data (such as property record data, parcel dimensions, owner information and pricing) that is current and accurate. DMP's innovative applications put sophisticated geospatial technology at the fingertips of non-technical users while providing a cost-effective, easy-to-use and rapidly deployable solution.

"We have delivered on our promise to provide a solution that offers the immediate benefits of geospatial mapping technology in a Web-hosted environment. The benefit is the preservation of significant budget resources and the reduction of the risks associated with building and staffing an in-house solution," said Steve Stautzenbach, DMP's vice president of sales and marketing. "Our model has been validated by more than 100 successful deployments in California alone, and we are now offering our complete solution to clients in the Pacific Northwest. Focusing on Seattle's metro area has been a priority for us as we have invested resources to develop local partnerships that provide the data that powers our applications."

In support of its Seattle-based sales and marketing objectives, DMP has opened an office and hired key personnel. With 20 years of technology industry and executive sales experience, Jim Kirsila has joined the DMP Seattle-based team as regional manager. Kirsila will focus on the development of the DMP Seattle-based client roster and will further develop the team in the local area.

"I truly believe that the local market is ready for DMP's approach to provide practical deployments of innovative mapping technology," said Kirsila. "In the past, the use of GIS technology by many organizations was prohibitive because it required large budgets and expert resources to build custom applications and maintain the data. DMP eliminates these complexities, and we look forward to introducing this concept to our Seattle-based business partners."

DMP plans to leverage the success it has had in other markets with clients such as Centex Homes, Southern California MLS, Young Homes, Fieldstone Communities, The City of San Clemente and The City of Dana Point among others. Kirsila added, "From government agencies to realtors, builders and title companies, DMP maintains a consistent focus and product strategy that will bring success in the Seattle region."

DMP recently announced partnerships with DataQuick and United Title Co. where DMP enhances their product solutions with dynamic aerial mapping bringing access to data on target properties.

DMP's Seattle office is located in Bellevue, Wash. For additional information, please contact James Kirsila at 425-562-1122.
