Varion Systems to Implement PV.Web For The City of Hamilton, Ohio

Chicago, IL – November 3, 2005 - Varion Systems, the software development and value-added reseller division of GeoAnalytics, has been hired by the City of Hamilton, Ohio to implement its award winning Web-GIS product, PV.Web 2.2, to deploy GIS data and tools to City staff.
PV.Web, running in conjunction with ESRI’s ArcIMS and ArcSDE to host a variety of spatial and business data, will take advantage of the City’s Enterprise Addressing System, Utility Customer data, and tax data to create a portal for users with unique needs. Long range City goals include leveraging PV.Web’s external database integration ability by disseminating business records stored in its Cityworks™ Asset Management, and Govern™ Permitting Systems.
PV.Web puts the power of real GIS in the hands of an entire organization. Built on ESRI's ArcIMS technology, users can easily navigate, browse, query, and report on both spatial and non-spatial land information. “PV.Web will give the City an excellent opportunity to put GIS into the hands of all City staff at a very low price point per user,” said Paul Braun, Varion Systems’ President. “We are excited to continue our strong working relationship with the City of Hamilton.” The City of Hamilton has been a Varion Systems client since 2003.
