Printer Friendly versionPrinter Friendly

Missoula, Montana - Visual Learning Systems, Inc. (VLS), the worldwide leader in automated feature extraction (AFE) technology, revealed its next generation AFE software architecture at the recent 2005 Feature Analyst Users' Conference. Feature Analyst 4.x unifies the VLS software solution on the industry's leading commercial GIS and remote sensing systems.

Conference attendees were also treated to technical presentations by industry partners and leading agencies, one-on-one training sessions, a preview of future releases and products, and a host of recreational events such as white-water rafting, fly-fishing, and a western-style barbeque.

According to a survey of attendees, 92 percent plan on attending the VLS Users' Conference next year. 97 percent said they would recommend attending the conference to a peer. As one participant put it, "I was very pleased with every aspect of the conference! VLS is a first-rate organization and I plan to come back next year!" Many participants had this to say, "I would like to thank you for making this the best conference, ever...and I've been to a lot. I am already looking forward to next year."

The 2006 VLS Users' Conference is scheduled for September 12-13, 2006 in Missoula, Montana. Plan now on joining the leading minds in the AFE community to see how the NGA, JWAC, Army, Navy, Marines, Forest Service, and others are using VLS technology in support of geospatial intelligence, geospatial data production, forestry, and 3D mapping on their respective systems. Selected briefings from this year's conference are available at http://www.featureanalyst.com
