Movistar Peru Selects LOC-AID Tracker and LOC-AID People for Launch of its LBS Services

BOCA RATON, FL – April 3, 2006 - LOC-AID Technologies Inc., a leader in location-based services (LBS) and innovator of end-to-end location aggregation, is pleased to announce that Movistar Peru has selected LOC-AID Technologies’ LOC-AID Tracker, LOC-AID Web and LOC-AID People for its suite of LBS applications.
Movistar Peru’s LBS solution aggregates location information and delivers it to a variety of applications, which are accessed from the web or a mobile device. LOC-AID’s innovative solution for geo-fencing, -alerts and –messaging (geo-FAM) allows users to configure and generate notification via SMS or email when a device enters or exits a defined area. As an integrated package, these applications enable enterprise customers to monitor and manage dispersed resources, or provide family safety and security to consumers.
