11th Annual Integrating GIS & CAMA Conference Registration Opens

December 7, 2006 (Park Ridge, Illinois) - The International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO) and the Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (URISA) are pleased to announce the 11th Annual Integrating GIS & CAMA Conference, to be held March 4-7, 2007 in Las Vegas. This conference is designed to foster collaboration and integration of data, technology, and functionality.

Jack Dangermond, President of ESRI, will provide the opening keynote address, “The New Face of GIS”. The closing plenary session, from Jeremy Aguero, of Applied Analysis in Las Vegas, will focus on session focusing on the affects on local infrastructure and government services when people migrate to younger and warmer metropolitan areas.

The conference begins with a choice of four optional full-day workshops on March 4:
· GIS & Assessment
· Introduction to Valuation & Spatial Analysis
· Project Management from Start to Finish
· Linking Assessments to the Enterprise: Why Addresses Matter for Assessors

Monday through Wednesday, attendees may choose from three program tracks (Management, Modeling, and Systems & Data Integration). Sessions have been developed on a variety of important topics like these:
· New Technologies Solve Old Problems
· Utilizing Spatial Analysis to Determine Property Values
· Trilogy of Success: GIS/CAMA Project Implementation


Vendors are always an important part of this conference with concentrated exhibit hours and vendor educational workshops.

Continuing Education Credit: IAAO professional designees will earn 7 hours of recertification credit for attendance at a Preconference Workshop and 10 hours for attendance at all sessions of the regular conference program. GISCI Certification points earned for attending one workshop and this conference = .4 GISCI education points.
