The City of Oviedo, Florida Selects GTG for GIS Needs Assessment and Strategic Implementation Plan

Goldsboro, NC – Geographic Technologies Group, Inc. (GTG), a leading provider of professional GIS
services and software for local government, announced today that the City of Oviedo, Florida has retained
GTG to conduct a GIS Needs Assessment and develop a Strategic GIS Implementation Plan. The project
will include: (1) A comprehensive needs assessment that involves a review of existing and future
departmental use of GIS, (2) A conceptual system design for information technology infrastructure, data
management, and work flow, and, (3) A phased implementation plan based on the needs assessment and
available resources. This project will focus on identifying strategies for meeting the current and future GIS
needs of the City of Oviedo.
