MicroImages releases version 2006:72 of the TNT products
Printer Friendly versionPrinter Friendly

This release of Microlmages geospatial analysis products (TNTmips, TNTedit, and TNTview) adds 64-bit support for Windows x64 and for a native build for the Intel based MacOSX. The display interface has been completely redesigned to facilitate the management of multiple, simultaneous 2D and 3D views. Personal Geodatabases, PostGIS (PostgreSQL), and Oracle Spatial are supported as linked shape layers. Links to Microsoft Excel, Access, and SQL Server are now made using OLE DB. Thousands of uniform rasters such as GeoJP2, GeoTIFF, and MrSID can now be treated as a virtual mosaic (i.e., as a single raster or image) for processing or display at any scale in less than 2 seconds from a hard drive or less than 8 seconds from a DVD using Microlmages FREE viewer (TNTatlas). Watershed geomorphological properties (steam lines, basin boundaries, and many more) can be computed for very large DEMs of several gigabytes in size.
