Dave Mockert, Former State of Wisconsin Deputy CIO and GIO, Joins GeoAnalytics®

MADISON, WI – August 20, 2007 – GeoAnalytics® Inc., an IT consulting firm that specializes in the planning, design, and implementation of spatial intelligence systems, today announced that Dave Mockert has joined the firm as Director of Local and State Practice.
Mockert brings both a public and private sector background to GeoAnalytics. Most recently, he was the Geographic Information Officer and Deputy Chief Information Officer for the State of Wisconsin. Prior to moving to Wisconsin, Mockert held the position of CIO for the City of Indianapolis/Marion County and prior to that he was the city’s the GIS Administrator. His private sector service includes project management and technical consulting for Convergent Group/UGC Consulting. Mockert has a Master of Science in Public and Environmental Affairs from Indiana University, and a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry and Geography from UW-Madison.
Working out of the firm’s corporate office, Mockert will lead GeoAnalytics’ local and state professional services and solutions teams. Of strong interest to these government clients and other public and private sector clients is GeoAnalytics expertise in the emerging field of spatial intelligence – integrating business data with spatial information across multiple platforms, and applying advanced statistical and modeling analytical tools to support decisions.
