Scalado Join the International Imaging Industry Association (I3A)

Scalado, a leader in mobile imaging software solutions for fast and memory efficient image processing, has today announced, that it has become an associate member of the International Imaging Industry Association (I3A), the leading global association for the mobile and traditional imaging industry. Scalado's expertise alongside a host of other leading experts will help to develop a complete set of image quality testing metrics and methodologies in order to enable a consumer-oriented image quality rating system, which is part of the I3A's Camera Phone Image Quality Initiative.

Scalado is an industry leader in developing and licensing mobile imaging solutions for any mobile phone equipped with a camera feature. The Scalado software is known for its fast and memory efficient image processing and is already embedded in several phones across the globe, and manufacturers to already adopt Scalado solutions include; Sony Ericsson and Samsung to name a few. Scalado will join the Camera Phone Image Quality Phase 2 Initiative to actively put new industry standards forward and to team up with other industry leaders.
