Goldsboro, NC – Geographic Technologies Group, Inc. (GTG) announced today that the
City of Midland, Michigan has procured additional products from GTG’s LG GIS software
suite. The City will be implementing LGcrimesweb.
LGcrimesweb aids in the visualization and dissemination of police incident information. Administrators
can fully customize the way data is presented. LGcrimesweb allows an agency
to display crimes as individual points or generalized to any geography such as neighborhoods.
The LGcrimesweb administrator can decide how much information to make available
for public consumption. LGcrimesweb is an affordable and easy-to-use crime reporting, mapping
and querying software application designed for towns, cities and counties of all sizes
and complexities.
Curtis Hinton, CEO and Co-owner of GTG, stated, “GTG is very excited to continue our longstanding
relationship with Midland. City IT and GIS staff understand the importance of GIS
and its ability to serve as an enterprise-wide portal to IT and GIS data. The implementation
of LGcrimesweb will enable each police officer to do their own analysis and quickly visualize
any area of concern. Midland understands that readily available information is the key to
better serving their citizens.”
