Goldsboro, NC – Geographic Technologies Group, Inc. (GTG) announced today that Colleton County,
South Carolina has procured new products from GTG’s LG GIS software suite. The County will be
implementing licenses of LGdispatch and LGaddress for Public Safety.
LGaddress for Public Safety is a Bi-directional Geographic Information System (GIS) software application
that allows spatial management of Colleton County’s E-911 Geofile. LGaddress for Public Safety allows
the user to update Geofile records with spatial information residing in a GIS. Spatial overlay capabilities
allow the user a window into GIS and Geofile records.
LGdispatch is a Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) mapping interface that provides E-911 dispatchers with
an interactive map displaying the location of all emergency calls. LGdispatch offers advanced geocoding
capabilities. Addresses can be validated against address points, polygons (tax parcels) and lines
(road network).
Curtis Hinton, CEO and Co-owner of GTG, stated, “We are very excited about the opportunity of working
with Colleton County. Their implementation of LG tools shows that they are serious about making sure
their public safety implementation is advanced and provides the citizens the best possible solution.”
The County’s utilization of GTG’s LG products highlights the value of our products as an integrated and
comprehensive set of GIS solutions that leverage the County’s investment in their current applications.
As with other fast-growing communities, Colleton County has embraced cutting-edge technology to improve
public safety services for its citizens.
