GeoAnalytics Retained by The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago

MADISON, WI – July 23, 2007 – GeoAnalytics® Inc., an IT consulting firm that specializes in the planning, design, and implementation of spatial intelligence systems, has been retained by the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRD) to design and implement an enterprise GIS Infrastructure and Stormwater Management System (GISMS).
The system will integrate data and the information flows from current District systems, District’s partners, and vendors. The GIS infrastructure will include Web-based tools for data access, reporting, and user applications. GeoAnalytics will assist the District in developing and implementing enterprise-wide governance for these new GIS and data management capabilities to support all of the District divisions. Initially, GeoAnalytics will create a pilot application project supporting stormwater management.
“This project represents an opportunity for the District to take advantage of its divisional data in a mainstreamed enterprise-wide system enhancing accuracy and timely information to better serve the District. We are excited to assist the District build an enterprise GIS infrastructure in all its components, from the ground up,” said Brant Serxner, PMP, GeoAnalytics’ Project Management Office Manager.
