Pitney Bowes Group 1 Software Wins Chinese 'Golden Software' Accolade
Printer Friendly versionPrinter Friendly

Group 1 Software, Inc., a Pitney Bowes company, has been awarded a Golden Software medal for China’s 2007 Golden Software Awards, in the category of 'Best Management Software'.

The Golden Software Award is one of the most highly regarded prizes in the IT software industry, and is supported by the China Center for Information Industry Development (CCID) and the China Software Industry Association (CSIA). The Golden Software Awards covers various areas of IT, from operation systems, project management, and development platforms, to virus killing tools. They recognise the smart and practical application of software to support continuing innovation and competitiveness of enterprises.

The prize was awarded to Group 1 Software specifically for their market leading Customer Communication Management (CCM) solutions. CCM is a set of activities that includes everything from billing to direct mail marketing, e-marketing, electronic bill presentment and payment to customer call centre operations. In order to achieve total communications intelligence, these activities must be integrated with the business processes they connect with, no matter how disparate they may seem.

Ralph Tomerlin of Pitney Bowes Group 1 Software comments: “CCM solutions span from database to delivery, enabling the improvement of profitability, the increase of effectiveness and the strengthening of customer relationships. These core values chime well with the ethos of the Golden Software Awards. We have been operating in China for over three years now, so to be recognised by the leading national bodies is a real accolade for Group 1 Software.”
