geoXMF Adds to Regional and Municipal Government Client-base for XMF Alerter

Longmont, CO – geoXMF is pleased to announce that The Regional Municipality of York
(York Region), Ontario has recently chosen geoXMF’s XMF Alerter software to provide a real-time
monitoring and alerting solution for their enterprise GIS systems.
“XMF Alerter software responds to the growing need for organizations world-wide to maximize GIS
reliability and performance,” said Dave Neufeld, geoXMF partner. “We are happy to add the York Region to
our installed base of clients.”
York Region is comprised of 1,776 square kilometres, extending from the City of Toronto to Lake Simcoe,
and includes 983,000 residents living in nine local municipalities.
York Region’s services for residents and businesses include policing, public transit, water/wastewater
treatment, solid waste management, transportation and roads, public health, emergency medical services,
community services, public housing, strategic planning and economic development.
